Letter
of Thanks to Amnesty International Members

To all of our friends from Amnesty International-
Kevin and I want to thank you all for the tremendous support you
are giving to us.
Kevin and I have always believed that we have to "make
our own music" in order to make a difference in the world,
and that if we start the process, we will be given the people
we are supposed to know who can use their gifts to help. We
will add what we can to make the right things happen -- we will
do our best to never take advantage of someone, but to always
give our share. When it's time to give back, we may give
to those who have helped, or we may give in their name, but all
good works will be repaid.
It seems that all the people who are helping us now, are
people like us, who understand that it must be a
team effort - a "circle of friends," and we love it
when it all comes together. With Amnesty International,
we know that we are part of a wonderful circle. No
one need do more than they can, or should, to make this all
work... but together the impact will be powerful, and we all keep
our freedom, because we just have to be ourselves to make this
work.
Kevin and I talked last night - and we looked around the world
at all the good people who now stand with us in our
"circle" and we said "thank you" to that creative
force that put you all there. Amazing people, talented, beautiful
souls, and so very real. We have all made our mistakes in this
life - but how good that we did. We are living, not just existing,
and if we hadn't lived, just look at all that we would have missed.
It is not an organization, politics, or personal success
that guide us. It is something within, a desire to have a chance
for peace in our lives, and the freedom to choose what will bring
us that peace. It is doing this together, as "friends"
not as individuals, that we stand the best chance of making that
happen.
Thank you, for the gifts you have, that you recognize, and that
you use so well. Thank you for caring, and thank you for listening
to your heart, and for taking a chance and sharing it with us.
Kevin and I know what we have been given. We are glad to
be a part of this amazing circle devoted to bringing Peace to
our world.
